Durand Rewards Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026. This policy covers the Durand Rewards mobile app and rewards-api.durand-auto.com.
Information we collect
When you voluntarily join, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, preferred shop location, optional vehicle year/make/model, marketing preference, rewards identifier, points and visit activity. If you separately opt in to app analytics, we collect in-app actions such as app opens, screens viewed, and taps on booking, calling, directions, offers, and the member card. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or data from other apps.
How we use it
We use contact and vehicle details to operate your rewards membership, recognize you at the shop, provide service, recover your membership, and communicate about requested service. After you verify your email, we use it to match your shop profile and display your vehicles, repair-order status, service history, and mileage from Tekmetric. Marketing is optional. Consented app analytics are used to understand which app features customers use and improve the app. A daily internal report may include aggregate app usage and member contact details for authorized Durand Automotive staff.
Sharing and tracking
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites. Cloudflare processes hosting, database, security, and email delivery data for us under its service terms. Tekmetric processes shop customer, vehicle, and repair-order records used to show your service history. The app reads these records and does not change shop invoices or automatically award points. We disclose data only to service providers acting for us or when legally required.
Retention, choices, and deletion
You can turn app analytics and marketing off at any time in Profile. Use Delete Rewards Account in the app to disable your account, remove app sessions and analytics, and de-identify your contact details. Rewards records tied to completed services may be retained only where needed for tax, warranty, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations. Security and children
Data is encrypted in transit and stored in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure. Durand Rewards is intended for people 16 and older, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
